I’m sure you’re asking yourself, “How can I, a reasonable human being, whether bisexual or not, properly observe Bisexual Awareness Week?”

Here’s the thing: It’s really easy.
The person taking your drink order? Be aware that they might be bisexual.
Ditto your bus driver. Your barber or stylist. The person at the gas pump across from you. Could be!
See, you don’t need to know whether a specific person is bisexual. You just need to be aware that there are a lot of us, and that we are like anyone else. We just have different ideas about who we might love.
And now you’re aware!
(Oh, and if you absolutely need to be aware of a specific bisexual person, well, hi. I’m pansexual, but we can get all definitional another time, when there’s not so much celebrating to do!)
